  • When we complete a loan application on your behalf
  • When we or a third party completes a ABN/TFN applications on your behalf
  • When you complete a ("Fact Find"), to reasonably assess your insurance or financial needs and objectives
  • When we lodge a bank account or insurance application on your behalf
  • When you complete financial questionnaires or supplementary medical

Where reasonable and practicable, we will only collect personal information about you, from you.

You have the option of not providing us with any or all personal information requested, but failure to provide us with this information may result in us not being able to provide you with complete and accurate service standards. Once we hold personal information, we will take reasonable steps to keep it accurate, complete and up to date. Where, in the course of providing a service to you, it has been necessary for us to collect your tax file number that number will be retained on our file by My SMSF Property and will be forwarded to financial institutions as required.

If you advise us that you object to your tax file number being retained, it will be permanently deleted from our files.

We may also use this information for other reasonably expected purposes directly related to the main purpose of collection, including:

  • Generating invoices and receipts
  • Performing credit checks and credit reporting
  • Supplying and issuing password and log-in information
